Overview

Moreton Bay Swimming Club was proudly represented by 16 athletes at the 2025 Brisbane Open Water Championships, joining more than 500 competitors across the 1.25km, 2.5km, and 5km races.

Open water swimming is one of the ultimate tests of resilience, adaptability, and courage—and our swimmers rose to the challenge beautifully!

  • Alice McGrarry – 🥉 Bronze, 1.25km (12 Years)
  • Runna Morii – 🥉 Bronze, 2.5km (17 Years)

Club Perspective

Beyond the medals, our swimmers displayed team spirit and determination, supporting one another throughout the day. The camaraderie was every bit as inspiring as the performances in the water.
