Mini Squad
Mini Squad represents the final stage of our Learn to Swim Programme.
Swimmers focus on completing the fundamentals of each stroke.
From a fitness perspective, swimmers aim to be able to complete the following distances (with technical competency);
- 25m Freestyle
- 25m Backstroke
- 25m Breaststroke
- Up to 25m Butterfly
Junior Squad
The Junior Squad is our introductory squad.
Athletes access the BIG POOL, focusing mainly on stroke development and introductory race skills (dives, turns and finishes)
Cadet Squad
The Cadet Squad continue with stroke development, while basic constraints-based learning activities are introduced. Cadets are familiarised with basic training habits and small fitness sets
Inters Squad
The Intermediate Squad refines competitive practises and provides a foundation for an enhanced training routine. The focus is on stroke improvement, skill development and medley training – with a BIG emphasis on kicking. Athletes will also begin to discuss and reflect on season objectives with their coach (eg: making their School swimming team).
Senior Squad
Access to Senior Squad is at the Head Coaches discretion.

Performance
The Performance Squad has placed an athlete on EVERY Australian Swimming Team, since 2015.
