Volunteers Needed
For the effective running of the 2022 QGSSSA / Andrews Cup Seasons, a community workforce will be required, to assist with serving breakfasts.
Breakfasts will be provided to QGSSSA swimmers on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Breakfasts will be provided to Primary Swimmers on Friday mornings.
Please complete the survey below, outlining what events/activities you are able to provide assistance. We invite parents from the QGSSSA, Primary Swimming, CSSAQ and Water-Polo communities to volunteer.
We will only need 2-3 parents each morning.
Friday Night Meets
Due to a variety of reasons, including COVID safe event planning / restrictions, traditional Friday Night meets will look a little different.
So as to reduce the number of participants at the hosting venue, we have arranged for "Dual Meets" to replace the traditional Friday Night leadup meet events - a Dual Meet will only have TWO schools in attendance.
Girls will need to REGISTER to attend these meets, before the advertised closing date/time. Registration will include race entries and return transport preferences.
Girls will score points for their College at each meet, promoting the “swimming for something bigger than yourself” philosophy.
There will be 4 dual meets in total (see aforementioned Event Calendar). Girls are encouraged to attend all dual meets, as times from these meets will assist staff selecting the final QGSSSA Team.
